As part of the “Yuasa Trading Forest” project, the Japan Malaysia Association (JMA) held a school supply presentation ceremony in December 2024 attended by Shinya Machida, Consul General of Japan in Penang. Stationery, bags, and other educational materials were presented to children from welfare-recipient families attending SK Haji Omar Tahir in the project’s activity area. Following the start of the new school year in February, the supplies were distributed to all students at the school.
