The Japan Malaysia Association (JMA) has received an organizational award at the “Volunteer’s Summit 2025” conference and award ceremony organized by the Nippon Foundation Volunteer Centre.
The event — formally titled Volunteer’s Summit 2025: Conference & Award Ceremony — was held on Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Chuo University’s Myogadani Campus in Tokyo. As part of the program, the “Vokatsu! MARCH AWARD 2025” presentation ceremony took place, recognizing individuals and organizations that made outstanding contributions to volunteer activities throughout the year.
JMA was honored with an organizational award in recognition of its collaboration with the Nippon Foundation Volunteer Centre on the “Orangutan Forest Restoration Project” — an initiative launched by the Centre — and its contribution to creating new volunteer opportunities. Moribayashi Takashi, the Director of JMA, attended the ceremony on behalf of the Association, engaging with other attendees and fellow award recipients.
