As part of its activities to create the foundation of the better understanding of the two countries, the Japan Malaysia Association has been involved in the translation and publication of books.  This year, we have published two books マハティール語録　若者よ元気かい？ and マレーシアを読み解く46題　知られざる我が国との縁.

The first book マハティール語録　若者よ元気かい？ is a translation of Dr. M: Apa Habaq Orang Muda originally published in Malaysia and written based on the interview of Mahathir Mohamad, the former prime minister of Malaysia.

The second book マレーシアを読み解く46題　知られざる我が国との縁 is written by Teruo Kamihigashi, the former diplomat who served as the Consul General at the Consular Office of Japan in Kota Kinabalu, and covers various topics of Malaysia, the state of Sabah, and their relationship with Japan.
