In the Autumn 2017 Conferment of Decorations announced on November 3, 2017, the Japan Malaysia Association (JMA), a Public Interest Incorporated Association, was honored by His Majesty the Emperor of Japan with the Certificate of Commendation with Green Ribbon (Medal of Honor with Green Ribbon) as an organization with outstanding achievements in the field of social service, including the promotion of tree-planting and greening activities.
Thanks to the cooperation of all those involved, our long-standing and steadfast work on rainforest restoration in the State of Sarawak was highly evaluated, resulting in the conferment of this honor.
