Dato’ Musa Ali traveled to Japan in late July to prepare for this year’s Malaysian Government Civil Service Training Program, which USM co-organizes with the JMA. He paid a visit to the JMA office on July 29 as part of those preparations.

The training program is conducted under the framework of Malaysia’s Look East Policy and is commissioned by the Public Service Department (JPA) of Malaysia. It is designed for mid-level federal government officials, with approximately 20 to 30 participants expected to take part. The program will include lectures in Tokyo on topics such as administrative reform and organizational management, as well as visits to government ministries and local authorities.
